Due to the pandemic all visits to our urgent care center are by appointment only. Please call our center to schedule an appointment.

Our center is only offering COVID-19 PCR testing. We do not have rapid testing available at this time. Results will be available within 3-5 days of testing.

Patients can now use our online portal to reserve your spot. Please note that this is a placeholder and we will see you as close to your chosen appointment slot as possible. Please follow all steps, including filling out your insurance information and your photo ID.

Be Proactive: Get Vaccinated!

FLUSHOTWhile flu season quickly approaches, it is important that you take the proper preventative care tips so that you and your family remain safe and healthy this winter.

  1. Be proactive. Always be aware of your surroundings. Be sure to cover your mouth when you sneeze or cough, wash your hands thoroughly with antibacterial soap and if you are starting to feel sick – stay home. Limiting your interaction with others will reduce the risk in spreading the illness. You can also purchase disinfectant wipes to wipe down countertops, door handles and other places that are commonly touched throughout the day.
  2. Get vaccinated. A seasonal flu vaccination is the most effective way to prevent the flu. The shot contains the dead virus inside you, and when injected into your system it creates immunity for your body against the virus. Please be aware that just because you were vaccinated last year doesn’t mean you are safe this year. The virus is consistently changing, making whatever shot you got last time ineffective.

Here at AFC Malden, you and your family’s health is our number one priority. We offer seasonal flu vaccines as well as other preventative care needs that you may need. You can visit it us at our convenient location at 219 Centre Street, or call us for more information at 781-322-7300!
